Ticketing Terms
How buying, holding, transferring, and using an OnCampusDaily event ticket works — and which obligations belong to OnCampusDaily versus the event organizer.
1. Who is responsible for what
OnCampusDaily is responsible for: processing your ticket payment (a wallet debit), issuing your ticket and its QR/verification code promptly once payment is confirmed, providing the check-in/validation tooling event organizers use at the door, and processing a refund where this policy or applicable law requires one.
The Event Organizer is responsible for: the event itself — accuracy of the listing, the venue, the date and time, entry policy, safety, permits, and honoring a valid ticket at the door. See the Event Organizer Agreement for the Organizer's full obligations.
2. Purchasing a ticket
A free ticket is issued immediately on registration. A paid ticket is purchased by debiting your OnCampusDaily wallet for the ticket's listed price — see the Payment & Refund Policy for how to fund your wallet. You must have sufficient wallet balance to complete a paid ticket purchase; the Platform does not extend credit.
3. Ticket issuance, QR codes, and entry
Once payment is confirmed (or immediately, for a free ticket), you receive a ticket with a unique code and QR image, viewable in the app and sent to your email as a backup. Present this at the event for entry. Your ticket code is unique to you — do not share it; whoever presents a valid, unused ticket first will generally be treated as the rightful holder. Entry may be refused for an invalid, already-used, or voided ticket, or where you do not meet an age or other entry condition the Organizer has disclosed.
4. Ticket transfer
Where the Platform's transfer feature is available for your ticket, you may transfer it to another registered user, who must accept the transfer before it takes effect. A ticket cannot be transferred after it has been used or voided.
5. Lost tickets and duplicates
If you cannot find your ticket in the app, it can be retrieved from your account at any time — a ticket is a database record, not a physical object that can be lost, though the confirmation email is a convenient backup. If you believe a duplicate or fraudulent version of your ticket has been created, contact support immediately.
6. Event cancellation
If the Organizer cancels the event, your ticket is refunded to your OnCampusDaily wallet.
7. Event postponement or material changes
If the Organizer postpones the event or makes a material change (for example, a significant venue change), you will be notified through the listing and, where feasible, directly. Depending on the nature of the change and applicable consumer-protection law, you may be entitled to a refund if you cannot attend the new arrangement — check the updated listing or contact support.
8. Refunds generally
Outside of cancellation or a material change under section 7, ticket sales are final and non-refundable, consistent with the Payment & Refund Policy. This does not remove a refund right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
9. Chargebacks and fraud
Because a ticket purchase is a wallet debit funded by a prior bank transfer (see the Payment & Refund Policy), a card-style chargeback does not apply. Attempting to obtain a ticket fraudulently, or reselling a ticket in a way that violates this policy or the Community Guidelines, may result in the ticket being voided and your account being restricted.
10. Admission refusal
An Organizer may refuse admission for an invalid, duplicate, or already-used ticket, for a disclosed entry condition you do not meet, or for conduct that violates the venue's rules — this is the Organizer's decision to make at the door, not OnCampusDaily's.
11. Force majeure
Neither OnCampusDaily nor the Organizer is responsible for a failure to hold or attend an event caused by circumstances outside reasonable control (see the Terms of Service's force majeure section), though a cancellation for such a reason is still handled as a cancellation under section 6 for refund purposes where the event does not proceed.
12. Customer support and disputes
For a ticket problem, use the Contact Support feature (ticket problem / ticket not received / refund request categories) for the fastest response. See the Complaints & Dispute Resolution Policy for how ticketing disputes are escalated if not resolved directly.
